The Broken Tool Detector adopts a contact-based detection method within the tool magazine. When the detection rod touches the tool tip, it automatically returns to the origin. Through logical operations and detection algorithms, it calculates the wear or breakage of the tool tip and immediately notifies the system to prevent production accidents.

The Broken Tool Detector can effectively detect tool wear or breakage, with the entire detection process carried out in the tool magazine without occupying processing time. It is applicable for the detection of tools in disk-type tool magazines and chain-type tool magazines.
